CHALK COUTURE is"For the Birds"...LITERALLY and Chalking up some "TWEET"...

WOW!!!
I think that everything that COULD
go wrong tonight
on my LIVE,
did go wrong!
But, I stuck it out,
and made it all good.
Sure seemed like it would never end,
Good thing I didn't have to go to the bathroom...LOL

Here's the final grouping
I created in the tutorial.
I used our
Board & Pillar Stand
and the House Wood Cutouts
to create the birdhouse.
I think I might have
jinxed it from the very beginning,
titling the LIVE video, "that's for the birds"
LITERALLY!!
THANKS FOR HANGING IN THERE
WITH ME!
think they all turned out
so STINKIN' CUTE!

I think you'll just fall in love with!
Spring is JUST AROUND THE CORNER,
and I'm getting soooo PUMPED!!
So, I just couldn't resist
sharing this piece of
DIY Farmhouse style decor.
I know we still have about 3 ft of snow
still on the ground,
but just hopeful thinking, I guess.

I used 2 different transfers.
for this tutorial.
and
They are both from the
Feathered Friends Collection

Birds & Branch and Bless Our Nest

And stay tuned
because I'll be posting
MORE tutorials

DIY Create a Breadboard into something BEAUTIFUL! And DIY Farmhouse Styl...

You can create a plain breadboard
into something BEAUTIFUL!
And pretty much ANYTHING
You may have around your home!
I did tweak the breadboard
AFTER the video.
I thought that the rolling pin
from the Sugar Cookies transfer
would look better
IN the black painted stripe,
rather than underneath it.
Have fun with it,
you can design, love and repeat!

Throw Kindness Around Like Confetti

I found this Floating Sand Unity Frame,
and thought it would be
perfect for this transfer,
"Kindness"
Apparently, these Sand Unity Frames
are used mainly for weddings.
Each family member or side of the family
adds it's special color of sand
in layers.
The photo is surrounded by the colored sand.
Isn't this the cutest?
I thought I'd do this tutorial,
because I wanted to spread around
some confetti,
to celebrate

Hey...guess what I received today?

probably one of my favs

Every month for ONLY $19.99/month,
you'll receive and EXCLUSIVE transfer,
ONLY AVAILABLE TO CLUB COUTURE SUBSCRIBERS!!
You will receive an 8"x10" transfer,
3 individual chalk pastes,
 in coordinating colors,
AND WITH FREE SHIPPING!
It's a GREAT way for someone who is new
to Chalk Couture.
Because you don't have to invest
a lot of money
to start creating
HIGH END DIY Home Decor!
PLUS...
I have even better news...
In the month of February,
those who are Club Couture members,
have the opportunity
to purchase ALL Chalkology Pastes
at 20% OFF!!!
What's not to LOVE?

In this tutorial,
I used only 2 Chalk Paste colors,
Almond, and Iced Coffee.
But.....
I added some sprigs of cotton
and Eucalyptus,
as embellishments for the "letter O".
This transfer is so versatile.
There are so many variations
you can create with this.
How about using a magnet (for a magnetic board)
OR some velcro
and add an embellishment for every holiday.
Maybe a heart for Valentine's Day,
a wreath for Christmas,
or a pumpkin for fall, etc. etc....

Welcome to our HOME

DIY Easy as Pie...Mom's Apple Pie Wood Serving Tray that is

Wow...
I had never stained ANYTHING
before this.
I started out with an unfinished
round board...
Stained it, not even knowing
what color it would turn out
to be, completed.
Added some adorable
jute covered handles.
And on to the magic of the chalk.
I DID tweak the tray
after the LIVE video, though.
I placed the transfer back
onto the apple pie,
and squeegeed a few strokes
of Almond Chalkology paste in a few areas.
I thought it gave it more dimension.
Then, since the RED apples
were not really clear
on the dark wood,
I simply washed them off...
YES! Chalk paste is easily
removable,
BUT, ONLY IF YOU WANT IT TO BE!
Since I hadn't sealed the tray
with some Polyurethane Spray, yet,
it came off nicely.
Then turned the red apples
into some Granny Smith Apples.
Much, much better, I think!
